My former refrigerator was 32 yrs. onetime and I am having trouble getting used to the new features. (ex. the shelves on the door are twice as big as my old 1 and the shelves within are smaller. Not enough room for fresh vegetables and not enough room for fresh meats) but will go used to it.

Our refrigerator was installed the recommended and scheduled professional. When the door is opened more than half way, it swings out resulting in jerking of the hinges. This is an annoyance because you wonder if the jerking will eventually effect the mechanics of the hinges. Less noticeable Is the swing open on the freezer side. The shop we bought it from sent out a fixer. He couldn't effigy it out and told us to call Whirlpool. The customer service was fantabulous and they have a Whirlpool person coming to gear up the problem in a couple of days. I went to Abode Depot to test the swing on the side by sides and the swings were smoothen and prevented jerking in full open. I'yard hoping Whirlpool will right the upshot. Other than that, nosotros are pleased with the refrigerator. I like the vegetable and fruit drawers. There is enough of room. Note that the ice maker is a separate purchase which is about $100.00.

Bought our new appliance in September and am basically satisfied with it. My only issue is that when we open up the refrigerator side information technology opens up against a wall. It does non have room to swing broad open and the shelves on the door are so deep that I take some difficulty getting to the back of the refrigerator. Also practise non like the fact that the shelves are non affluent confronting the back wall of the refrigerator. I have already had to pull the unit out in club to open the door all the fashion to pull the drawer units out in order to get some items that had fallen off the back of the one shelf. Not a good feature at all. Other than that it is working well and hope it lasts as long every bit our concluding refrigerator which was 31 years old!

I was agape that stainless steel finish would crave a lot of effort to maintain but it is not the case. It looks good with minimal wiping. The temperature settings are besides sensitive to outside ambience temperature. At that place is room for another shelf in fridge section merely information technology has not been supplied. Not certain why the manufacturer decided to do so. The unit of measurement was stored in wet basement and came with an awful smell that fabricated me gag.

I have had my Whirlpool side-past-side refrigerator for most a month. I am basically happy with it, other than the fact that the shelves exercise not pull out and that I now have it on the warmest setting and the freezer side is at 1 degree and the refrigerators side is at 30 degrees, so information technology is freezing my vegetables. I am going to call the repair service It's probably a quick set up.

I bought this fridge effectually a month and a half ago. We've had it for about 2 weeks. (We actually have the 28.5 cb ft 1) information technology seems ok. The h2o Water ice dispenser when you press them manually are very hard to press and it does not continue the filtered water cold at all.

I chose this fridge because it did not have h2o dispenser and ice maker, which there are very limited choices on the market. I purchased the fridge at Dwelling house Depot and when the fridge went dead I spoke straight with Whirlpool. I was happy that the rep was easy to communicate with but she had me worried if the repair would be covered under warranty. She said the tech would decide. The soonest a tech could exist scheduled was 1 calendar week (there was no business organization over loss of food) and when the tech adamant the command board was bad (thankfully under warranty) information technology'd be another week to receive the office. It's working at present and hope there's no further issues.

With very limited space, in that location wasn't many choices in the market place to cull from only since we had a Whirlpool which lasted more more than than 20 years before, we opted to pick Whirlpool again. So far so expert and it keeps everything chilled nicely. Noticeable difference esp from sometime one is the freezer. Freezes much faster than expected. Noise level is cracking-less noisier than the older model. Couple of points to reference: The bottom shelf due to the lighting fixture, has a gap so nosotros keep dropping bottles and smaller items from the dorsum of lesser shelf.; The doors don't close without extra shove dissimilar the older model and then we have to go on reminding ourselves to manually push button and shut the doors. Hoping this one volition last equally long as the older one!

I didn't observe the problem until a few days after delivery on June 25 2019 when it not just reached operating temperature only I too stored some food within the drawers. Both drawers can be either difficult to slide open up and/or shut due to in my stance either a design or manufacturing trouble. It appears that all of their 32 three/4 inch wide model employ the aforementioned drawer design. I contacted Whirlpool customer service and what follows is what I wrote and their reply. "Besides a blemished forepart door that is being replaced in 6-8 weeks, and after using the appliance for a few days, I have now observed that both lower front bins are problematic to open up and/or shut, the degree of difficulty varying with the internal temperature. The colder the worse. Since it seems to me that I should non have to deal with these bug with a brand new appliance, I would like to take information technology removed and receive a full refund of my purchase price. Delight suggest." "Cheers for contacting Whirlpool. Nosotros appreciated hearing from you. We are lamentable to acquire that your Whirlpool Refrigerator Door having to be replaced and the internal temperature. Being consumers ourselves, we sympathise how frustrating information technology is. I like the fridge except that the compressor runs most of the fourth dimension and is a flake loud. I have both freezer and refrigerator on lowest settings because I practise not have it stuffed with food, just enough. The ice cream is so frozen I demand to let information technology sit down out for a while earlier dishing it out and the ice cubes grew up icicles on the medium setting. Everything in fridge is cold enough on lowest setting.

The within capacity is small not a lot of options to change shelving level. And the outer surface keep finger prints.

I purchased the fridge a few weeks ago and was transitioning from a bottom freezer to a side-by-side unit of measurement. I feared that the refrigerator would be small, but equally it turns out, I feel similar I have more space. I am very happy with my purchase.

Outset thing I asked the salesman at dwelling Depot! Is it finger print resistant he said yep! Well I don't recall it is! There'due south fingerprints all over the doors! That was a big bargain for me! Other than that it's good fridge when you have express space! I was told by a competitor that the model number does not reflect a fingerprint resistant unit of measurement!

I similar the side by side and that the door is smooth with no water maker. It actually has pretty good room, but it would exist corking if there was 1 more drawer. Need one for fruits, 1 for vegetables, and one for cheeses and cold cuts. Likewise, in that location is but i drawer you tin can adapt humidity. Simply 2 drawers and only ane has humidity command. Other than that it has a nice seal and fairly repose.
